Maybe we're doing a stellar job at loving our neighbor but you can't love your neighbor well if you don't love yourself well! For some, this may mean something external- going to get a massage or just maybe just soaking in the tub for a longer time than usual. For some this may mean recharging by reading a good book or eating a wonderfully tasty meal. For others this means tamping down negative mental commentary and replacing it with affirming words or ending a relationship (platonic or romantic) that has become toxic.
What about social media? Do you spend your time comparing? Maybe there's a person you follow that just irks you? It doesn't always have to be a frenemy situation either. It is possible to simultaneously love someone and disagree or not want to hear what they're saying on social. I've been there before! My favorite button on Instagram is the mute button. I've literally gotten my sanity back at times when I've been too focused on what a certain person is posting.
So ultimately I guess what I'm asking is how are you loving yourself?

Loving myself is choosing self care and my family over get paper 💴. You captured it well, it’s giving myself permission to rest and to slowdown. Choosing hope and faith over fear. 😘
